Coloured Raine Cheers to the Beauty Palette Review

So after the recent concealer fest…nothing wrong with that, concealer and base products are my thing…only I simply wanted to bring you lot something a lilliputian unlike! Something a trivial different being another of my favourite topics ha ha…a new eyeshadow palette!

Today's mail's all about US cruelty gratuitous brand (who are responsible for one of my accented favourite eyeshadow formulas of all fourth dimension!) Coloured Raine's new offering…the Cheers To The Beauty Palette*! Yeah a flake of a spoiler alert in at that place, but I am a massive fan of Coloured Raine eyeshadows and have spoken well-nigh them earlier…you lot tin can read more about their Queen Of Hearts Palette hither I'm obsessed! When it comes to palettes though, I like to reserve judgement until I've had a proper play fifty-fifty if information technology's from a brand I'm otherwise actually in to…sometimes palettes tin exist so hit and miss!

Have a look anyway…it'southward a thing of beauty!

The most obviously noticeable thing about the Cheers To The Beauty palette compared to the QOH is the fact that not only is in that location 12 eyeshadow pans, in that location'south besides a larger (twice the size to be verbal) highlight shade in there also. Similar size wise to the Coloured Raine QOH and Kat Von D Dazzler Metal Matte palettes, the CTTB palette'southward non one you're really going to want to travel with (it's big!) just it has plenty to offer! Autonomously from the highlight shade the CTTB Palette is a pretty even mixture of warm and cool shadows…5 mattes, 2 foils and 5 shimmer pearls. FYI one of the mattes isn't completely matte (I know!)…but more than about that later. Permit's see more about the shades and their swatches!

* Shades/ textures co-ordinate to the Coloured Raine web site

➕ Boutineer – matte lite rose
➕ Powder Room – matte pinkish nude
➕ Rose – shimmering golden
➕ Iconic – shimmering grey/ brownish taupe
➕ Diamond Jubilee – shimmering silver
➕ Opulence – glittering royal blueish
➕ Raise A Drinking glass – matte deep mauve
➕ Vintage Feels – shimmering ruby-red orange (* this 1 is counted equally one of the matte shades)
➕ Debonair – matte cherry (* this one contains carmine as a color condiment…not Vegan)
➕ Nightingale – shimmering rusty gilded
➕ Grandeur – night shimmering green
➕ Black Butterfly – shimmering black with purple undertones
➕ Luxurious Bling – champagne highlighter (larger pan)

Coloured Raine doesn't specify which are the 2 foiled shadows, later on swatching/ playing I'm thinking Diamond Jubilee and Nightingale? They do recommend that Diamond Jubilee should exist applied with your finger for the best application which makes me think definitely that one anyway! Foiled or shimmer, either way they're all super metal and highly pigmented. For more intensity with any of the metallics, patting them on with your finger or applying them wet volition work a treat!

I touched on it before, but included in the '5 mattes' claim is Vintage Feels…It'southward a beautiful rich rust orange shade with a matte base yes, but information technology does contain tiny shimmer flecks. That being said information technology doesn't really expect shimmery or glittery once it's blended on to your eye, it just looks more of a satin finish in my stance (slightly textured but mainly matte if that makes sense?).

Luxurious Bling (the highlighter)…I wouldn't depict it as a true champagne, it's more than of a neutral transparent (still creamy) base but with a pinkish/ peach shift. Information technology'due south really pretty and blends smoothy on the pare with no obvious glitter. I feel similar, because of the more neutral base of operations, it would compliment most peel tones which is manifestly a good thing!

Here'south the await I did when I had my first play with the palette…obviously it's more of a grungy 1, y'all know me! I really like actually that although at first sight it'southward all nearly colour, you can grunge information technology up nicely peculiarly over a deep base which is what I did here.

I used black liner on the waterline/ to smoke lower lash line and all over the hat and buffed out as a base first. Then I built up my crease/ transition area using the matte shades, lighter Boutineer and Powder Room shades get-go and gradually building the intensity with Vintage Feels (orange) and Debonair (ruby-red – which I also then used all over the lid). To create the super quick and like shooting fish in a barrel 'spotlight' consequence, I just patted on a bit of the beautiful metallic almost greenish gold Nightingale on to the centre of my lid with my finger (great shortcut!).

I did the verbal same build up of colour forth my lower lash line every bit I did up elevation and added a pair of KoKo Lashes in Queen B (Kindy sent to me by falseeyelashes.co.uk)…they're of course cruelty complimentary and are full without beingness besides dramatic! To cease upwards I highlighted my inner corner with Luxurious Bling…love how it adds that bit of light and warmth and tied everything together perfectly.

So there it is…another really slap-up palette from Coloured Raine! The Cheers To The Dazzler Palette with it'due south inclusion of so many cooler tones, is out of my comfort zone it's safe to say…merely non and then far out that it isn't a welcome addition to my palette collection. In a sea of warm neutral palettes (I'm obsessed with those as well!), the CTTB covers all bases and is actually a squeamish change and something dissimilar to adorn your eyeballs with. I do like the fashion there are a few neutral, warm and mattes in there though…it makes it then much easier to create a cohesive await using the ane palette!

The main thing that attracted me to this palette in the beginning place is the fact that information technology's Coloured Raine. All of their shadows that accept tried have seriously impressed. Highly pigmented, smooth and blendable…and then affordable and for such astonishing quality too! The 2nd reason was that cherry, Debonair…I needed a CR red!! I have a major affair for blood-red eyeshadows in example y'all haven't noticed, ha ha. One of my all time favourite reds is Sugar Pill Honey +* such a beautiful pure scarlet and I honey how Debonair from this palette is a like tone, just but a touch darker…yes!! While we're taking about Debonair (the red)…that was the only shade in the palette and felt a bit different to the residuum, near grainy? Fear set in but fortunately (and i take no idea why) it blends on to your optics perfectly, so no existent problem!

It's a gorgeous palette with a cracking mix of wearable, neutral, warm, cool and unusual. There'southward something for everyone and if you lot're looking for something a picayune different to add to your shadow collection, this would be the perfect option. Amazing Coloured Raine quality I've come to expect is there and I can't wait to play some more than! * Go on an eye on my Insta for more than looks!

What are some of your go to/ favourite eyeshadow formulas??
